Its that time of year again!
Where everyone boards the train in Boulder City to meet Santa!
One of my best friends and her family ended up coming the same time we went, so I took advantage of the opportunity to take a few quick snapshots of her and her adorable kids!

First Group of Sassy Pics

Okay, I am trying to find the time to edit, so forgive me for taking forever!! I guess I know I will have to wait to get this up and going once kids are in school.

I could only edit a few before my husband was begging for his computer so he could play his games. I hope this will be enough to tie you over for now! I am really excited about these photos, I think they turned out great! (for me, of course, I am still a beginner!)

The Dam Bridge

My family and I will be walking across the new bridge next to Hoover Dam on Saturday to celebrate its opening!
It amazes me every time I see it!

Check It Out! -#1-

Alrighty, this is my first official "giveaway" of sorts! Really, its a sneaky way to get subjects to help me practice my photography. I've got a location picked out, now I just need some poor soul(s) to come let me drag them around and snap a few pictures. I am looking at doing this on October 23 some time in the morning after 9am. You must be a resident of the greater Las Vegas area (even though I would love to visit you if you aren't!) and be able to travel to the Henderson area. Welcome!

Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by! My name is Michelle and I am thrilled you have decided to join me on my adventures in photography! Ever since my daughter was born, I always wanted to be able to have good photos taken of her, but never had the resources, so we settled for Sears and The Picture People, forking out all kinds of money for mediocre pictures and a good fight when she wasn't willing to cooperate. Recently, however, I have taken a much deeper interest and began fiddling around with my dads fancy camera and my husband must have saw some potential, because he bought my my own "big girl camera". I have been experimenting with it and attempting to learn as much as I can and am thrilled to see the end products. I started up this blog to share some of my work as well as offer up some opportunities for you to win a session with me! I have lots of places I want to have a look at and will need subjects for these "Check it Out!" photo sessions. You will *hopefully* get some quality photos while I gain experience, its a win win!
